Christine Lindine To All Instructors

Chrissy has been teaching as a private educator and tutor for over 20 years.  A native Floridian, she attended Florida State University College of Music and University of Central Florida School of Performing Arts receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance with Minors in Psychology and Sociology.  She began her Master's in Piano Pedagogy and has plans to finish the degree program in the next coming years. In addition to teaching Piano and Flute for many years, she has also tutored ESL, Mathematics, and Physical and Life Sciences as well as Reading. Chrissy's love is in teaching, but also loves to perform and has done so at a variety of different venues and in different genres in the Southern United States. Genres range from Classical, Bluegrass, Southern Rock, Alternative Rock and is currently exploring Jazz.  She has been playing the piano since she was 4 years old.

Chrissy's teaching philosophy is simple: Meet students where they are, help them explore and feel confident in their strengths and abilities, and bring joy to learning whenever possible.  A quote by Albert Enstein "It is the supereme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."

Chrissy's hobbies include playing the piano, reading, video games, UFO/UAP and extraterrestrial historical analysis and research, soul and higher level of consciousness research, playing board games and learning Japanese. She is currently a member of Music Teachers National Association.

But more than anything, she loves her family: Her daughter, Maddie.  Her fiance, Joe.  And her two dogs, Penny and Grizzly.
