Vanessa Gibson To All Instructors

Vanessa is a mother of five children, four of which are grown and out of the nest, and the last child, her youngest daughter, is homeschooled and attends HSOBX. Vanessa is also the homeschool Girl Scout troop #104 leader, that her daughter and 8 other girls attend. The troop is currently open to new members. Vanessa graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from Virginia Wesleyan and taught High School for 4 years. She has also taught classes at HSOBX in past semesters. For fun Vanessa enjoys pyrography, writing poetry and spending time with friends and family. If she can spend any part of the day in her hammock watching the clouds, butterflies, and birds it’s a very good day!
