Mrs. Yhossiris Patricia Marshall To All Instructors
Yhossiris Marshall is a native Spanish speaker originally from Mexico, with a strong passion for early
childhood education and language development. She joined the community as a military spouse and
has been part of the local area for nearly five years. She brings both personal and hands-on
educational experience to her role.
As a mother of two young boys-a two-year-old and a four-year-old-Yhossiris has been dedicated to
homeschooling her children. Her journey began nearly two years ago with her then two-year-old,
focusing on creative, play-based learning techniques that foster curiosity, communication, and
confidence. Her background includes a wide range of enriching activities from her youth-such as
soccer, track, volleyball, dance, hip-hop, folkloric dance, math, and STEM-which have shaped her
energetic and well-rounded teaching style.
Before transitioning to stay-at-home parenting, Yhossiris worked full-time in various professional
environments, developing valuable skills in leadership, organization, and teamwork. Alongside her
husband, she has also co-coached three seasons of Upward Soccer in local church communities,
further honing her ability to inspire, motivate, and support young learners.
Yhossiris is committed to creating a warm, engaging, and inclusive environment where children can
immerse themselves in the Spanish language through music, storytelling, crafts, movement, and
hands-on activities. Her goal is to spark a lifelong love of learning in every child she teaches.
