Shannon Matthews To All Instructors

Hi! I'm Shannon, and I live in Norfolk with my two daughters, Jocelyn and Adelynn. I have lived in the Hampton Roads area almost my entire life, even sticking close when I attended college at William and Mary in Williamsburg. I graduated with a double major in elementary education and psychology, and I taught elementary school for 5 years after graduation until I found out I was going to be a mommy. After my oldest was born, I was fortunate to stay home with my girls for many years! Currently, I work from home as a medical coder for Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters while homeschooling my daughters. We love the flexibility that a work-from-home and homeschooling schedule provides us. My girls are on a gymnastics team, and we enjoy Busch Gardens, the beach, and Bergey's just to name a few! I look forward to teaching your child this semester!
