Sandra Tucker To All Instructors

Hi, my name is Sandra but everyone calls me Sandy! I was born in South Texas and I attended Texas A&M from 2009-2013 and graduated with a bachelors in Education specializing in History grades 6-12 and Spanish. I met my husband in Kingsville Texas while he was in flight school (2013) and we have been married 10 years and have 5 kids. We love to spend time as a family and have our kids involved in different clubs which is something I didn’t get to experience in my childhood. I strive to be a good mother and friend. I always try my best to meet new people and I enjoy teaching and being around children and families. I am a native Spanish speaker due to my parents who are both Mexican descent. I love my Mexican Culture and enjoy sharing it with others over great Mexican food. I have a tye dye personality which I like to describe myself as a little bit of random splashes of color. Since I am a new homeschooler , I like to teach my kids through song, silliness, and repetition so I know what I’m teaching “sticks!” I enjoy the beach, traveling with my family, watching Spanish soap operas, and celebrating every holiday because nothing is too small to celebrate. I hope to grow and learn from other homeschoolers and get more involved in the community.
